On June 5, 2010, Beyond the Pale will be performing as special guests with the Toronto Children’s Chorus at Koerner Hall. The concert, entitled “Around the World in 80 Minutes,” will feature a short set by BTP, as well as the premiere of a new commissioned work by Martin van de Ven entitled “Being Margolia,” written for BTP and the choir. BTP WINS IAP AWARD

We’re pleased to announce that our latest CD release “Postcards” has been voted “Best CD of 2009″ in the Multi-Genre category of the Indie Acoustic Project, an esteemed American acoustic music competition whose past winners include such innovators as David Grisman, Mike Marshall and Chris Thile.

EUROPEAN DATES

March 1, 2010

BTP returns this month to Europe, performing on March 11 at one of the world’s most prestigious Klezmer Festivals, in Fuerth, Germany, followed by a concert at the 11th International Akkordeon Festival in Vienna, Austria. The latter show will be available for live online streaming, as it happens, from Emap.fm, live internet radio.
